METER MADNESSMeter Assembly Competency
This fast-paced contest pits competitors against the clock to reassemble a working water meter from a bucket of parts. This meter must meet the requirements necessary to avoid leakage when starting water supply.
Meter Madness is endorsed by the American Water Works Association (AWWA), in which the winner will represent ANEAS at ACE-2018.

TAPPINGTapping Contest Competency (Tapping AWWA)
The Tapping Contest is a competition of technical skill and physical condition in which the crews of Water Utilities and State Commissions that provide drinking water services work against the clock to drill into ductile iron pipe and install taps with no leaks both in the pipe line and meter, having the correct pipe angles.

CONTROL VALVES ASSEMBLY
This contest aims to promote healthy competition, teamwork, and recognition of the work developed by the operational staff of each Water Utility, as well as to promote and develop the necessary technical skills of such personnel for the proper operation, installation and maintenance of the Automatic Control Pressure Reducing Valves.

CONTAINMENT OF CHLORINE GAS LEAKS DEMONSTRATION
In this competition the participants will have to contain a chlorine gas leak in the shortest possible time, using "A" and "B" kits and SCBA equipment using 68 kg cylinders and 907 kg containers, which verifies there is no leakage in the valve, fuse plug or cylinder/container. This contest will be exhibited for the first time in the Convention.

WWTP ECOLOGICAL PARK
The Wastewater Treatment Plant “Ecological Park” has a capacity to treat 80 Ips. The WWTP provides wastewater treatment services to the Northeastern area of the City of Puebla and contributes to the integrated sanitation of Alseseca River and Valsequillo Dam.
SULPHUR WATER TREATMENT PLANT
Harnessing the outcropping of sulphur water and once treated incorporate it into the city's drinking water infrastructure
